Our mission at PCN is to provide homeowners a resource for finding qualified contractors and service providers in Minneapolis and St. Paul.

My name is Joyce Hawkins and I am the founder of Preferred Contractors Network (PCN), and Homeowner's Handbook online. PCN became a Corporation in the State of Minnesota in 2005, after friends, family, neighbors and co-workers all shared my frustration of finding reputable contractors/service providers in their community. The idea of providing homeowners a FREE resource for finding qualified contractors in your area was born.

Hiring a contractor in many cases requires you do some research to qualify every company you hire. When you're facing an emergency situation with your home you don't have time to do research. Having a resource to guide you to experienced service provides takes the guess work out of finding a professional contractor in your area.
